Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data the ezytreev app collects, why it is collected, and how it is used to support the functionality of the app and related services.
Collecting Data
The ezytreev app collects certain data in order to function correctly. The following types of data may be collected:
- Location: If you turn on GPS, your location will be used to display your position on the map. This location data is not collected unless you inspect an asset, in which case it will be stored alongside the inspection for that asset.
- User ID / Name: Your user ID is stored alongside each asset or site inspection, as well as other changes made to the data. This allows inspections and changes to be associated with the person who carried them out.
- Photos: If you take photos of assets or sites, these will be collected and stored alongside the relevant asset or site so that other users can view any issues you wish to bring to attention.
- Device ID: If you use the Smart Sync service, each device will be allocated its own device ID. This is used to ensure the correct data is synced to your device and to identify which device is syncing data.
Smart Sync
If you use Smart Sync, your data will be securely synced to our Smart Sync servers using encryption. This data may then be viewed by you and your colleagues on other devices, including the web or desktop system, so they can perform their jobs.
At no point is your data shared with any third party. Data will only be viewed by members of the ezytreev team where required to help diagnose issues or respond to enquiries, and only with your permission.
You can delete this data in the application, through the web or desktop application, or by contacting our help desk.
SOS
If you are experiencing an issue with your device, we may ask you to send an SOS. This may email or upload logs from your device, as well as the database if you choose to include it.
This data will be used only to diagnose the problem and will then be deleted.
